I have been non stop since we got back with carpet cleaning, work, being lazy, ETC. I just parked the car with vacuums in it and drove the other 2. I cleaned it all out this weekend and started serviceing everything.
First off we have a Watermatic (would love to have some info on this) with tools and hose. I need cloth filters for it hint hint. I didn't get this from the convention. Toby sent it with Wick Rinkler;P to the convention for me. It ws a nice surprise, he also sent me an original Elux hose that goes to the golden L.
Next is a MINT Eureka Power Team that I bought from Alex. Its dated May of 1985 so its a month older than me. Next is one of my favs, the original Filter Queen Princess dated 1982. I bought this from Wick Rinkler;P. All I need for it i a white electric hose. This baby pulled 110 on my suction tester. Then we have a black Premier commercial model 9000 that I bought from Fred S. The next one is a metal based General Electric upright model P6U5 that Terry gave to me (would love to know more about these). Last but not least my pride and joy, in front is an ALL original Regina Electrikbroom model L that is in perfect condition. I took the motor all apart and serviced it, wow what a beauty. The dated on the armature is May 1947.

Forgive me if the pics are dark. Everytime I take them they are very bright on the camera and the computer but when they are posted on hee or ebay they get dark. The room I took them in give me best results, other rooms in the house make the pics blackout and my house is not dark.

Regina

closer pic
You can see some scratches but they don't look that deep, the flash intensifies them. However there are scratches, after all this thing is 64.

The drag around wheel

kirbyvertibles's profile picture
I was told this wheel that also serves as cord hook was for when you took the head off and put on the hose, you would flip out the wheel and pool the Regina around like a canister and then push the wheel back in when finished. Wow never knew that. Would love to get my hands on the attachments for this or at least see what the look like.

Would there have been a brush in here or another head for brushing?

Premier

This morning when I posted my story about the Singer upright; I was thinking about that Premier. The black and red reminds me of the commercial twin fan Kenmore's. And for a moment, I thought it might be a twin fan, but it's not.

I'm still amazed how many vacuums you were able to fit in your car. You are quite the packer.

Ok Phil, I need a refresher on how you date the Eureka canisters, where's the "nipple" with the year and dots?

okay the nipple in in the power head housing on the side without motor or sometimes it will be listed on the underside of the motor. However there are times when the time dial or "nipple" isnt there at all. In that case its anyones guess. You can also find it on the cord winders sometimes.

I didn't see the Water-Matic there, that is a really pretty machine. Great haul, that room looks like it needed some vac-decor! :-)

Mr. Muller,

This is the Wick Rinkler moving and storage company.

As of yet - have not received check for the transportation fees of one WaterMatic vacuum cleaner.

Understand someone in Canada is interested in same. Likes the color.

This is your final notice.

Please remit transportation fees or the WaterMatic will be repossessed.

This is an attempt to collect a debt. Any information obtained will be used in that end.

Have a nice day.

I just cracked up over this.

Along with more pictures of the Water Matic I have to add one that I forgot all about. I bought a beautiful Handy Way Sani Clean from Tania. I will get pics this week.
