Hey Guys!

Can anyone tell me whether or not the Hoover model 918 commercial cleaner with cloth dump bag can be adapted to accept a paper bag? In other words, is there a bellows and coupler assembly out there that fits the Hoover 918 orifice on the base? Also, was this model conceived, designed, and manufactured in the US, Great Britain, or Canada? Was it also designed with an attachment set and what is it like? What does the correct bag look like, too?

This, as well as the prior 913 and the later U7037, were all imported from the U.K.

The correct bag was black with red letters. Do not know about whether or not it takes attachments or disposable bags. The U7037 changed to a grey bag with a front patch with the red Hoover logo, and the words HOOVER and Commercial below that.
