In Colorado has a mint one, he brought it one of the first conventions the club ever had at Alex Tabers house , I think it was in 1993.

Hi there the ones i have is made in the late 1950's.a friend of mine where ive got my columbus that can convert to a vacuum cleaner has got a few of these,he knows the history more accurately than me.if i may ask from where did u bought this one?as it almost looks the same as the one of my friend in jhb?i know he said the original bags were bigger than the ones who could only polish and there wasnt a columbus mark on the bag.we have a garage in leeudoringstad with stuff my great grandfather had in his shop, theres a columbus polisher that has never been used its in excellent condition.theres also a polisher,as i was told it could convert to a vacuum cleaner and you put the wax somewhere in the head where it applies the wax itself and buffing the floors.i would so like to have all the vintage cleaners thats inside that building, but unfortunately they dont whant me to have it all.

I am getting it from a guy here in Cape town , unfortunetly he lives right on the beach front so I can see why it looks like it does.

Wow!

Hang onto that! That is a VERY rare machine, at least in the states it is. I have only ever seen one, in pictures.

It will look amazing when all buffed out!

The motor won't turn at all , I think the bearings have siezed or somthing is stuck between the armiture and the coil, two of the screws that hold the top of the motor together are stuck and I haven't had a chance top take it appart yet.

oh ok.i thought it may have been the field coils or armature that burnt out. Ive got a spare armature, field coil and carbon brushes.if you ever may need it.
