pet owner brushroll has stiffer bristles and it deep cleans better! |

As for bags what kind should I get? Kirby cloth or do the generic Envyrocare do the same job? Thanks |

you have a dog, I'd recommend the best cloth bags. They will hold more pet hair and stop all the odors. |

The cloth HEPA bags hold more and maintain airflow much better than the paper MicronMagic bags. As for odors, I think the cloth bag will help reduce the odor while also allowing you to clean longer with the same vacuum bag, which equals fewer bag changes. Nothing will elimate the "dog" smell completely but every little bit counts. I've never used generic bags for any Kirby vacuum I've ever owned so I can't say how they preform but I've been so happy with the genuine bags I never thought about trying anything else
My Diamond Edition and Ultimate-G have the newest style brush roll with the staggered bristles and I think it cleans much better than any of the previous styles. I haven't used the pet owners brush roll as my machines do just fine removing the white cat hair from my carpets, if you have a large dog then it might be worth for you |
