Today I got these

A hoover 652 A and a

Hoover commercial U7008 it needs a switch though.

The 652 is the older model with the switch located underneath not through the body like on the later models and some sod cut the cord off

I also got these,
A hose for my Electrolux s1129 , a metal one , it needs some work and cleaning

and a nice origional hose for my Electrolux Automatic 310

Wow!! What are the chances of coming across one of those metal Electrolux hoses??! That's the same hose used on their very first machine, the Model V!!

I was at my local recycling plant, (READ paradise) and saw one peeking out of a box with the two hoovers I could.t believ my luck.

Now to clean it up.

You have a model V don't you ?

I have two Model Vs, the early "stick-vac" type with removeable runners, and the later one with permanent runners. The early one has the same hose you found, and the later one also has a coiled-metal hose but instead of the bare metal being exposed, it's covered with a woven cloth jacket, maroon in color with black stripes. Here's the early one:
