I found a pristine power team canister but the power nozzle which looks like a vibra groomer 2 has a wooden brush roll.I heard some time ago that the eureka metal brush rolls from the uprights were interchangeable with the power nozzles from the same vintage. I would like to see if I can harvest a metal brush from a upright to use,Please advise.

The brushrolls between the PNs and the uprights only share the actual rolls or tubes (wood or metal respectively), they use different axles & bearings so cannot just be straight-swapped... :)

Heck, even getting a VGIII into my VGII PN took some work, which almost blinded me, modifying the end caps to allow the extra 2 rows of brush strips, so your best bet is to find another PN with the right brushroll... :)
