I really like the picture of the day of the westinghouse converto vac, do anyone maybe have one in their collection? I would love to see more pictures of it and the wattage an so on. It looks like a very interesting vacuum cleaner.

Its okay,thank you.Wish i could go oversea and bring back all the nice vacuum cleaners you guys have there!we dont have bisons,airways,singer,eureka or much kirbys older than the Heritage!

I remember this!

The brushroll had a turquoise rubber strip for a beater bar that was flexible, as well as the usual brush.

Did the brushroll turn off when the hose was inserted? Or even switched? God, I hope so.

I remember seeing one in the window of a hardware store in Atlantic City on a family vacation when I was a kid in the 1960's.....kept trying to figure out ways to get my family to walk by that store at every opportunity during our visit!!!! :-)
