I have wracked my brain off and on for years trying to figure out what make of vacuum some friends of my parents had when I was about 3 or 4 years old.  I entertained myself playing with it whenever we went over to visit.  I remember it being completely brown; base, handle, bag, hose, and even the metal attachment end of the hose, the extension wand and upholstery tool.  I also remember very clearly that the switch on the handle was a rocker type, not a toggle style.   For quite awhile I thought it could have been a Hamilton Beach or Westinghouse, but I haven't seen an example of either of those two brands which had the rocker style switch and have no idea what their attachments looked like.  The closest thing I have seen is this Apex.  Does anyone know what the attachment set would have looked like, or if any other vacuums had the rocker style switch on the handle?
