Hello Joe.

If you haven't already acquired the fan elsewhere, shoot me an email & I will provide you all of my contact info. If you have, keep me in mind next time as a source for your Genuine Kirby wants & needs.

The fans I carry are only Genuine Kirby parts. The fan is made made of 'Amodel' plastic, which is even more durable than previously when it was 'Lexan.'

The fans have been made of 'Amodel' since approx. 1996, when the Lexan ones were discontinued.

It is only: $9.35 + s/h, thru me. [Fan Assy/Amodel 119078S]

Cheers & hagwknd all,

Bill

Ps: As a side note for those who are interested, the fans have NEVER been made of 'KEVLAR.' [This is an 'urban legend' if you will, that has propagated over the years. ~~lol~~] It was the aluminum ones, then 'Lexan' & 'Amodel' since '96.

I have had good experience with Kirby Needs ebay store.

Looks like it's the same fan from model 516 through Legend II, so you should be able to find one locally if you don't want to buy online.

On the subject of Kirby fan blades------

Will picking up particles of rock salt damage Kirby metal fans?
