I have been searching for the vacuum I bought my mom in the late 60's. I wanted one in fairly good shape. After giving it a "spa treatment" here it is my long awaited Hoover Model 70.

Did you just get that on ebay?  there was one on there this week.  The 70   was the model that went to the smaller "sticker" badge.  I have both,  but not in THAT condition.  Now, you need a nice set of tools!  ENJOY !!!!!!!!!!Wink

Wow! That could pass for a "vault machine"! Great job on the spa treatment.

Thanks again, and yes I did buy it off of Ebay. I was looking for one that was in pretty good condition and this was it. I did have to give it a spa treatment. I have a new convertible brush roll ordered that has 4 brushes. I also ordered a new genuine Hoover Convertible motor just in case I ever need it.

Wow

I always tend to favor the predecessor to this model, the Neptune Green 69, but when I see a 70 this nice, I have to rethink that. What a nice shade of blue.
