I just ran across this -- only 35 minutes to go!! Better act now if you want to get one of the rarest vacuum cleaners in captivity!!

I was watching for the bidding war at the end.  No drama at all.  In a couple clicks it sold for $510.  That's hundreds less than the last one on ebay.  I wonder who the happy collector is?

I too am very surprised it didn't go much higher than this.Granted, there are a couple of issues with it but they're minor. Seriously, this machine is very, very rare. I only know of a half-dozen or so collectors who have one. Someone certainly got a good deal on it.

I know of two people who have one, and one of them acquired it by inheritance.  Alas, for me it will have to be enough that I've seen one in my lifetime but never to have owned one.
