Here is something I've never seen in 25 years of collecting. I just had to rescue it. I am going to restore it to it's former glory. It needs quite a bit of love, but when I am finished it will be like new and run that well too.

Calling Fred!!!!! Maybe you know something about this.

The model 60. Mmmmmm. Rare bird there! Isn't that the one with the switch for the handle release in the handle itself?

Is it functioning? Do post some more pictures if you can!

Actually

The machine was converted to a foot pedal when it was "reconstructed" The unit runs VERY poor. I will fully correct it and post the pictures after.

Wow... that has to be one of the last rebuilds that Hoover did.  I didn't realize they did them past the model 305.  Very cool find, indeed!  Congrats!  I really don't know much more about it than that.  Definitely keep us posted on your progress!
