The other 593s I have seen don't have a hand grip and this one is different than all of my other Convertibles. Would it be an aftermarket ad on? The color seems to match perfectly.

And last I put on a gray bag just to try it, and I think it looks pretty good. It matches the bumper. Hoover should have sold one with these colors too. Enjoy, Nicholas

The earlier models had the bumper that matched the hood and a zipper bag, at least mine does. Hoover was known for making changes during a production run for whatever reason. Does yours have a zipper or snap bag? | ||

Well, some vacuum stores with tons of old parts may have some outer bags for convertibles. | ||
