Another half price estate sale find for $2.50
Model 69, however I suspect the bag is newer. If so, does anyone know what model the bag is off of, and moreso, does anyone have a pic of what bag should be on here...

Indeedy - Here is an all-original Model 69.  Not sure where that bag came from.

Great find! I have a question about the model 69. Did they all come with the green hand grip? Mine has a white one. Would it be original or was it replaced with a generic one?

Given the lack of the "Hoover" name in the circle on the side of the grip, I'd say that's a replacement, the grip pattern doesn't look right for a standard Hoover grip (comparing it to my Junior 1334's handgrip)... :)

later models still had green,  but no name in the little circle.

How about the plug??

My 69 has what looks to be a white Hoover cord and plug, but it does not say Hoover on the plug. It is definitely the exact shape of a Hoover plug, though. Did they take the name off the plug during the 69 run or later? I always wondered when they did that, even before I had this vacuum. This 69 has a green hand grip but without Hoover in the circle, so I wasn't sure if they genericized the plug at this time as well. Chris.

Yes, it was during the run of the 69 that Hoover took their name off of the handle grip and plug, and attachments/hoses--as it was about this time when they started making cleaners for
