Hi guys, I just recently got a trash vac the other day, and it works amazing! It works just like new. I was just curious though... does anyone know what year this is from? Its a Eureka E2088A. And also, is it rare? |

Is from th 70s indeed. While not very rare it is in beautiful shape it appears! Someone treasured it! |

Hey neighbour! Lovely Eureka you got there....made in Kitchener too!
My date estimate is anywhere from 1975 to 1980 for this one. We had a 2083 Rugulator upright which was made in 1974, and I think the 6amp ESP motors were introduced a few years later. I am thinking more towards the end of the 1970's. The green tone is similar to the colour we've seen on those nifty "Continental" style Eureka's of that time, with the rounded, contoured hood. Thanks guys, wasn't quite sure if it was from the 70's or 80's. There are some scratches on the hood, but the green colour is pretty cool. :) |
