Hoovers

I have one of each of those models. The first one is in very good condition. I like it when the Red Hoover sign on top of the headlight lights up. It runs very quiet. The other one on the other hand needs rewired from the Motor up. Does anybody know how to get the socket at the bottom of the handle out.... Dan

The one hoover for 50 he wont toss it. He has lots of collectables. I bought 2 vacuums from him already. The other one first time i have seen it on craigslist.
Now i just need the extra money to buy it.

Those are two wonderful Hoovers.  I hope they find good homes.

@Thermokid.......The plug in the bottom of the handle is held in place by a little pin or "dowel."  Clamp the handle in a vise and using something nearly the diameter of the pin, tap it through to the other side with a mallet.  I had an old cabinet hinge pin which was the perfect size.
