Here is a 1971 Royal model A880 (serial #17F-H-50942) Imperial Prestige mustard-yellow upright with the Adjust-O-Rite in the same color.

Note the attachments are the same mustard yellow as well.

1971 Royal a880

Ben,
I have no knowledge of Royals. What makes this machine different from other Royals? I do love the color and the fact that they carried the color trim on the handle grip, cord, bumper and attachments.
Too bad Hoover and other makers started using the same generic white trim on all the attachments and trim in later years. They all looked alike except for the hood color.
Thanks for sharing.

This A880 is different from the mainstream 880 in that it is called the Imperial Prestige, what you see on the bag.

The mainstream 880 is medium blue in color.

However, there is the model 990 Galaxie Prestige which itself is a version of the model 888... and that one is rarer still.
