though it was the real magilla (a Hoover) in rust and white. I bought it in approximately 1982 and had it for almost 20 years. Bret Schiewe bought it from me when I emptied out my house before hitting the road. That baby could do a great job on bare floors. The water lift was very good. One of Hoover's better ideas. Did you know that Stacey Krammes' husband helped work on the first '57 model? Did you ever meet Stacey (former museum director at the Hoover Museum)?
