That looks like the Junior Deluxe hardbody (which evolved from the Junior Starlight hardbody U2002 of 1975), model U2068, from the 1978-81 period because of that mustard yellow color. From 1980-83 it appeared to be rather brownish to be analogous to that of the soft-bag Junior U1104.
The Turbomaster replaced the Junior Deluxe as well as the Convertible (or Dial-A-Matic as we Americans call it) during 1983, starting from the basic U1100 up to the deluxe U2332 Autoflex. ~Ben |

It was the TurboPOWER which replaced the Junior Deluxe, and indeed was slated to replace the "traditional" Junior range as well, although that did not finally come of the "official" Hoover lineup until 1987. The DAM (called convertable in UK) was replaced by two models of the Concept One. The TurboMASTER replaced both these and the remaining Hoover Senior models. The Junior Starlight/Deluxe models had nothing at all to do with the "traditional" Junior range and were manufactured in France rather than UK. They were the first European models to return to a pan converter to attach the hose.
