I just got a big HOOVER box full of tools.  Some are HOOVER (yay), then, there are loads of Interstate: metal,  and turquoise, etc.  Any info? Any interests?

I'll post pics as soon as I can.

Interstate was who made the Compact/revelation vacuums, and later, Tristar.

The tools will work with all of them.

"The tools will work with all of them."

Not sure that's the case -- don't some of the Compacts have button-locks on the ends of the wands? If the attachment doesn't have the hole for the button to pop into, will the wand fit the attachment?

The tool should still fit-but will not lock onto the wand or hose cuff.

A friend of mine told me

jfalberti's profile picture
last week if he knew I collected vacuums, he had a Compact that was complete that his mom had in his garage for years and didn't know what to do with, He asked his sister about a year ago if she wanted it, and she said no. He asked her what he should do with it, and she told him to toss it, so he did. I thought all my friends knew I collected. Darn. I was just sick when he told me that. :-(
