Ok I thought this would not work but I was WRONG! This is wonderful for my hard floors. Because now you use ONE electrified house and ONE set of wands it takes just seconds to change from carpet cleaning to floor washing. All you do is slip the Rainjet wand on and you are ready. It has a pump to dispense the solution. You start with the basin empty. One side of the tool has the sponge and you go over the floor. It flips over (like an Electrolux tool) and the other side is the squeegee. The floor is completley dry. I could not believe how nice my laminate floors looked in just seconds. They have a special cleaner but I just used warm water. It also comes with a stiff brush/squeegee for tougher jobs like my patio floor. So easy and fast and you already have the Rainbow out to sweep the floor and rugs. It took less than 5 minutes from start to finish to do my kitchen and breakfast floor. If you had a house with all hard surface floors I would buy the Rainbow just for this feature. No heavey machine to push and pull and no screeming motor. The lighted basin lets you see when it's time to empty but it uses such a small amount of water you will not have to empty in a normal home.
