I purchased this off eBay at Christmas time, it sat on eBay for a couple of months and I got tired of seeing it there, and just splurged and bought it for myself for Christmas!

Alas, here it is. Its a Eureka 1746B. I need to find a new hose and a floor brush, but aside from that, the machine works perfectly, and is very powerful. It cleaned up really nice. All I have done it put a new belt in, and changed the brushroll from a wooden VGII to the stainless steel VGII, and I had to add a plastic spacer to the foot pedal as it wouldn't catch the switch. I found a black hose on eBay, my vac shop doesn't have a white hose or white floor brush.

It takes B bags, and the wheels are rear mounted, not on the side. I heard that could be rare, I don't know too much about these machines. All in all, an excellent machine, and very powerful! Enjoy!

Eureka Hose --N-- Stuff

Kevin,I may have the original hose you are looking for, also the curved wand and bare floor nozzle, straight suction carpet nozzle, (upper-model [SP]?) dusting brush and upholstery tool. I must first go and take a look-see through my storage building as I can't remembrancely recall my own name much less sucker-parts I've not seen in three plus years! Anyhoo, if those items are there they were in perfect order and you are most welcome too them. I don't know about shipping cost as your countryman David posts that sending things between Canada and the U.S. can be a drain on our limited budgets. Kevin I will go look in the storage Friday to see what I have. Hope I can help you and please feel free to e-mail me, the info is in my profile. Russ HUMPH!!! Brazilan wax you say, and all these years I've used CARNAUBA! Maybe that's what's wrong!
