hey all.....guess what i found today......

a Kenmore Power Center!......it was only $3.00! i couldint believe it...it is fully usable and completely in tact, the machine dates from 12 1992, which is really sad, cause i remember December 1992, ok i feel 40 now..lol , the only thing wrong with this machine is it was really really dirty.....so i had to soak the whole base and hood and handle....and wash the bag.....i turned out to die for!...i even had a genuine Power Center bag tucked away for such a occasion.... a very interesting trip back to 1992!

I'M EXTREMELY JEALOUS!!
My grandparents had that same exact vacuum except it had a stretch hose and it was 7 amps!! I loved that vacuum! But it went through hell and back unfortunately. After my grandparents stopped using it, they gave it to me, and it got thrown out a few weeks later. It was a great vacuum though! Congrats!!

You know what, crummy ole Phillip would have gotten that machine had we been thrifting together.
I have been lucky to find 4 different models and poor Jason just stood back and drooled.
You see, whenever Jason and I thrift together I carry a rifle with me and have only shot Jason maybe 6 times. Lol
Really though dude, nice find and I would have let you have that but only because I already have that model lol

Thats the one my cousin had, I had the blue 7.5 amp. Loved that vacuum. I did like the hose on the 6.5 better as mine was the stretchy hose and we all know what happens to them when you put Mr. Crevice tool on ;)

Congrats it looks great.

these were actually built by, believe it or not Panasonic. this was there only (at least to my knowledge) direct air machine....there was said to be a actual Panasonic named version...that was produced for commercial use and was made in red and black...but ive never seen one before......

I seriously doubt it. Those elite style power centers were Panasonic made. Good cleaners but ear deafening loud.

This is the Panasonic Ultra Pro commercial version. I like these vacuums, I think in my humble opinion they are the best cleaning Elite style machines that I've ever used. Even better than Hoover, Eureka, Dirt Devil and Bissell. But I still prefer the clean air versions. Will see if the new Sebo/Karcher will outclean my Kenmore Power Center or not.
