hi,
I own a old national cleaner that has the same hose. As far as my national considered there is a switch on it tha says on/auto. When you put it on auto you have to use the switch on the hose to turn it on. When you put it in the on modes the cleaner starts working and the switch on the hose does not respond anymore. I have a feeling that an electric power hose of a national from the early eighties works on this cleaner also. greetz edgar |
