Here is a 1974 Royal Heavy Duty Commercial (serial #47F-B-25053), model 606A. Has deluxe headlight, I am not kidding.

So this would lead me to ask you all: how could the non "A" 606s have the cast headlight assembly, but the 606A would have the deluxe headlight of the 880?

Justin,

Pictures of them, please?

As to when they were made:
606A = November 1973
903 = January 1982

I believe your 903 has a 3 amp motor if I am not mistaken, otherwise 4.5 amps.

Justin,

Thanks a lot! My next stop on these is to hear them in action.

Ben, I don't have a video camera so I will be unable to do a vid showing them in action. That, and I don't have enough room to do a very good demo. That said, I can look into using someone else's home... and I do know a few really good looking men that could demonstrate the Royals in action... Hmmm, I wonder if I can get my friends Ben or James? James looks a lot like Josh Groban. I just love curly hair.
Later,
Justin
