to those who wait.  I have been looking for this model Kirby for years, and look what turned up!  When I started selling Kirby back in 1980, this was the first model Kirby I traded in. (selling the Tradition at the time).  I can't wait to get it.  This will be a keeper for sure.  The seller was KennyLoveland4hs9.  Is he the member kloveland on here?

I'll be sure to post some pictures. Actually, this has been a great week! I contacted another collector here last year about a NIB Premier he wanted to sell, but we lost contact. Well, we hooked up again last week, and he still had it, and we struck a deal. It should be arriving soon, and I can't wait for it too. The Premier looks exactly like a GE Swivel Top my Aunt had when I was a little kid. Thanks Hans and Kenny! All I need now is a Hoover Convertible (don't know the model number, but will recognize it on sight) to finish my childhood memories collection. You know, I think I'd better go check the calendar. It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!

Hey Fred,

I've found with IE 8, I can't follow up or read some other peoples comments on this post, however with Firefox, it works fine. I've also noticed this on Am I seeing things, or is something wrong?

I am happy to hear you are getting another childhood vacuum to complete your collection! I personally would be pleased as punch to get a GE Swivel Top, a powerhead model, as we had one in my teenage years. As a matter of fact, the EXACT same model we had came into the repair shop for repairs last summer, and I wish I could have convinced the owner to give it a new home with me.

Do post pictures of your Premier Swivel Top here and on my Facebook group when you get it, and thanks for posting the Kirby. You are a lucky man to be getting a Kirby Dual Sanitronic 50 all-original like that on the Bay; so many are bojacked or have aftermarket parts.

Congratulations, Joe.

Rob
