Apex 600

Hi! Found your thread on this Apex 601. I recently bought an Apex 600 from someone on eBay. The machine works fine, except the belt needs to be replaced. Question: what belt does it take? Your vac looks enough like mine to lead me to believe it would use the same size belt as the 600. Any help would be much appreciated!

A Royal upright belt will fit and work perfectly.

I was amazed to see this post for the Monitor vacuum. I had a friend back in the 1970's that had one of those vacuums. The bag was large and half black and half white to beige. I really liked it and when he told me he was moving, I said the I would like to buy it from him, but he already gave it to his sister. It was one of many old vacuums that I had seen in my early years that eventually got me into collecting cloth bagged uprights in the 1990's.
