When we were clearing out my grandpa's house, after he passed away, I found the owner's manuel for his D50 and that same take was tucked inside.
KG-40 was Kirby's miracle additive. They added it to the Suds formula in the early '60's, if I remember correctly. The d50's bags were treated with the stuff to prevent mold and the like. I don't know how well it worked, but they were very proud of it. I'm sure someone on the forum knows all the details. Justin | ||
