I'm proud of it and enjoy sharing it with my friends. It was the 1st cleaner I bought, NEW, with paper route money. I was 16. It was a "clearance", $59.00 tools, 1031, an additional $9.99...Couldn't you DIE ?! And, it's been used a lot in this old place. See? If you take care of things.... HOOVER quality.

I think I'm having a moment, John....ahhhhhh.
I had a new 1076 myself, but in a fit of stupidity, I gave it to friends of mine. One of the dumbest things I ever did. One day I will have one again. They were a great cleaner, and I love the large headlight. The Estate Series were nice too...very modern looking. This was just about the peak of Hoover greatness. |

Been awhile since I have seen that bagless Hoover Windtunnel in the first photo. Would love to find another one someday. BTW Beautiful DAM and convertible. |
