where could I order a genuine lux hose for my ap280? I like the handle with the round suction adjusting. how about price? and also for my super J? | ||

On the Aerus site looks like there are dealers in Nanaimo and Courtnay ... probably wont' be cheap Don't forget that the US electrolux hoses won't fit your AP280 | ||

Brad, do yourself a favor & just get a Perfect hose....
I have one for my AP280, & it looks & works just as good as a new genuine Lux hose does. The hose is beige to match the vacuum, handle looks pretty much identical to the Lux handles, & have the original slide suction control on the handle, like the AP280 originally had- but it also has the on/off powerhead switch on the handle. Something you won't be able to get on a genuine Lux hose....a nice added touch.
Price for the Perfect hose is $100, versus $115 for a genuine Lux hose. You can get them at any vac shop that deals with Johnnyvac for parts orders, & Filterqueen also has them too, but only in gray.... They also make it in beige for the Super J, if you wanted to use one for it too... Let us know how you make out... Rob | ||
