Is it just me or do the new all plastic Sanitaire motors smell 'funny' for lack of a better term after running for a bit? |

I had a brand new Eureka commercial....(all plastic).Im not sure how similar they are in respect...but mine never had any strange smells after running for long periods. |

I don't have a sanitaire with the newest motor, but my S634 smelled for a little bit. the SC-888 didn't. |

Agree with reply #4 No funny smells or the like here either, install quite a few every week... a pretty nice motor. |

Hmm, guess I'll let it run in a bit more and see if it goes away. |
