I can say it's built better than the Oreck, it's a lot quieter and does a fantastic job. It does not work as well as the full size upright but it wasn't meant to compete with that machine anyway.

If history repeats itself.... The first lightweight Aerus/Lux turned up later with a lot of different badging, like the Hoover, Royal, etc. Wonder who makes it? | ||

I will say it is an impressive motor. nothing at all like the tiny power nozzle motors used by other lightweight vacs.

If you'll notice the fan blades are pretty close together. I don't think this would survive anything more than a penny or dime.
