My latest restoration project (that I have nearly finished) is a Lewyt Leader "big-wheel." The top gasket for the bag compartment is completely dry-rotted...so much so that it leaks air. I was wondering if there is either a good substitute for this OR if I should just find something else.
Also, would anyone happen to have all of the attachments that would match a green "big-wheel?" I am dying to use this vacuum. I also need some bags, preferably the "Speed-Saks," but any will do, as long as it fits. The hose also is a bit on the dry side, too. Thanks!

Kyle, you might find something you can use for a gasketseal in the weatherstripping department of any hardware store or Home Depot. There's stuff like strips of thin foam with peel and stick tape on the one side and it comes in various widths and roll sizes. Heres a link to the stuff. What model is your Big Wheel. I might still have a few bags
I have a n.o.s. made to fit gasket for you if you would like it for 5.00 with shipping. as for bags I use fair fax bags they fit good. you may email me at ramblerman1962@hotmail.com for my address, if you would like it, send me a money order for 5.00
