Agreed. I think it would kill off dust mites if vacuumed slowly but in order to kill most microorganisms the light WOULD have to stay in an area for atleast 30 min. I think thats how it works in water anyway? I dont know how they get away with giving consumers misleading info. Id like to ask the manufacturer how they would feel if I peed on a plate and said its the latest in sanitzing, would they eat off it? Probly not but they let consumers kids play on the UV sanitzed floors that just got a 5 min vacuum by mom/dad. sorry had to vent lol. |

Wow, and it's self-propelled too! How did they make a self-propelled light weight? That's surely a lie! |

... I DO know a "flash in the pan" when I see one! And sadly, that is exactly what I think of these UV-Vacs. IMHO, the latest "feel-good" fad to be foisted off on a germophobic society. Surely in the short amount of time that it takes to vacuum those lights can't do much good. And, if you were to run one of those cleaners in one spot for as long as would be necessary to do a decent job of killing germs you'd either have a bald spot in your carpet, a dead vacuum cleaner, or both! Frankly, I can think of better ways to waste my money... |
