Hey all, I was talking to Jason Huber and he had a customer come in looking for bags for a Eureka Floor Show and took MM bags. He called me to ask what it was ( I never herd of one) any how the lady told him it looked like a Mity Mite and is black and has a very small electric power head??? So what is it and does anyone have pics? I would love to see it. |

The power nozzle is basically the same nozzle you would find on a rechargeable Boss Lite Stick Vac, with a tiny motor and small diameter revolving brush. I also remember them selling this mini power nozzle separately - a tool that could be attached directly to the "gas pump" handle of the electrified hose of any Express canister or World Vac canister. It seemed like a really neat tool to be used for carpeted stairs or car interiors - kind of like the very first incarnation of Eureka's Power Paw turbo upholstery nozzle - with the important difference that this was driven by electrical power, not air. Eureka's version of a mini Powermate. The original Mighty Mite One's (or power nozzled "Floorshow"s), used Eureka's Style C bags. Interesting note on the first Eureka Mighty Mite of the mid 1980's - it was one of the consumer products featured in a Time Magazine article focussing on "innovative" and "good" design. It actually was a very good little compact canister vac, and it originally came with a really nice, complete set of full-size Eureka attachments, including stainless steel wands and a lightweight silver-coloured 7-foot hose. I bought one for my brother as a wedding gift! Eurekaprince Brian |

I wanted that bad, just cause it was different. It was sold here at ann&hope and I thinj Sears too for a short time when thet went Brand Central around 1990. I didnt see the PN lassting to long tho, but i wish they would come back with it for compact vacs. Hoover also offered a BOL fullsize PN like was on the Futura for the Tempo II at sears. I guess to compete with the Eureka. |
