My mom took me to a resale shop today that always has vacuums, and today they had many. But I decided to take a Legend II with 10 belts and many bags. It has the original shampooer with the box, zip brush, hose, you name it. It is just missing one extension wand. And it was only 25 dollars! I will post pics later

I hate my legend II.
I have to have it adjusted ALL the way down
for it to even atempt to lock down on the carpet >:|
And thats with the metal fan.
Hopefully when I seal the fan case It
will proform better.

I would imagine...

...silicone would do the job. Definitely don't toss in the towel on that Kirby.

The Legend II was the first Kirby I ever bought (eBay) and to this day it is still one of my favorite machines, part of the rota of "daily drivers."

silicone is your friend...indeed...and i do love my hrtg2..
great vacuum that i almost got rid of.it was here that i learned that i had a piece of history...not a piece of junk.
with some tlc and words of wisdom from the forum abroad youll have that kirby running great and looking good. no other place like this ...your with people who really enjoy what they do...doing what they enjoy.

That is real weird Kirb, that Legend should suck to your red rug just like your ClassicIII and Convertible do.
