I have longed for one of these machines. I was promised one, then the owner decided he wanted to keep it. If anyone has one they are willing to part with please let me know. I really do not care on the condition or whether it works or not.

I just picked one up.If I decide to part with it you get 1st offer. Check out thread 6422. I fixed the handle so it would stand up like its supposed to but I only taped the coupling that the relese pedal locks on untill i can find one.I also pulled out the razor that went thru the fan housing.

I too would give my right eye for one. I have asked my local vac shop to be on the lookout in the event one gets traded in. Does anyone know why these cleaners are so rare? Did they not sell well, or is it just that few have survived?

I just think because they were on the expensive side people just grabbed an Elite or convertible. The suction is really good and the port for connecting tools seems much more convenient than flipping the machine over, like the Elites at the time. I belive they sold for around 300.00 IIRC. mabe Fred could chime in??

From what I understand, Hoover Innovations definitely aren't easy to find, but when I was visiting a fellow vacuum collector, he was lucky enough to find one for $7.95 half-off at a goodwill. They really are pretty fun machines to use and perform very well.

The one I found needs new belts,so bad it doesn't even turn on the free pully. My point the suction was so strong on the test run I couldn't push it,I ajusted the hight and it just kept my area rus sucked to the nozzle.
