I just picked these up at the local vac shop for 21.00 dollars for the both. The Dimension is awesome, with all the tools, and power nozzle(which needed work), but the hose is not original. And I heard the Eureka was hard to find. It is a bit scuffed up, and I need to get a belt, other than that is an awesome vacuum. Pics to follow!

Very nice imperial. If you take some plastic polish to it you can make it look like new. I know the Eureka plastic bases respond really well to it.

The Hoover is really nice too. I love the transparent tool cover.

They sell it in auto parts stores and auto parts departments of major stores... Target, Wal-mart, Autozone, Pep Boys are places I've seen it... Home Depot and Lowes may even have it. I've always been intrigued by it, but haven't gotten any yet. Will one day!

I use NOVUS plastic polish for my plastics. I usually go over them with soft scrub first and then move on to polishing. See the link for the NOVUS site.

In the picture you can see the kind of damage I have managed to repair with NOVUS. In about 15 minutes of work, nearly all of those scratches and scuffs were gone.

Erick, that must be amazing stuff, could you show us an after picture. I have used "Kit"Scratch Out before which I got at Walmart.

While this is not the nicest after picture, it does show improvement. I took the bottom picture just a few minutes ago. The top cover is painted metal and there was little I could do about it.

try wet sanding..lightly..like you would on a cars paint...2000 and up grit sandpaper and a spray bottle of water....then a little turtle wax polishing compound....finish off with the plastic polish ...and there you go. will get those hard scratches and dullness out..will gloss up real sweet...and 'PURDY'

I use NOVUS too. Its a great plastic polish Eric. I polish my Kenmore with it periodicly, and also I use it for the car when the guage cluster gets swirl marks it polishes it up nicely.
