Something to clean up with before Ken gets home with that Action Man guy he's been off on a camping trip with...

The DC07 CLIC: this is a limited edition fund-raising model - £10 from the sale of each example went towards the battle against Cancer and Lukaemia In Childhood (CLIC) charity.

In March 2003, Dyson began a campaign to raise £1 million for CLIC, with the Colour My Dyson competition. The winning entry was used to choose the colours of this limited edition model. It actually reminds me of the original G-Force/Cyclon 1000 models. Or something you drink when you're nauseous.

Wow... that's quite a color scheme! Reminds me of the breast cancer model but it was pink and grey.

For Giant Barbies Everywhere..

I actually love the color of my pink Dyson. It is a pale shade of pink.

That would look good cleaning a Hello Kitty living room. I love that color combination!

Rob...

May I ask why you have rubber bands around the dirt container on your Dyson? When I got my used DC07 there were rubber bans and I couldn't figure out the use for them.
Thanks!!!

For Giant Barbies Everywhere

Jack,
I was looking at the pictures for a second time and noticed your Dyson has 2 tones of pink. The handle and several other parts are the pale pink like mine and your tools are the intense pink color and mine are plain grey. Details, details!

Clayton,
Mine had the rubber bands on it from the factory. I damaged the top of the bin the FIRST time I removed it. It bent the tab that holds it to the machine. I was not very pleased with the durability of my Dyson as this would be a part that is handled every time the customer would empty the bin. Dyson was not helpful either. I would have to give the them a C- for customer service. They wanted over $70.00 to replace the part. As a collector I am very careful with my machines so I was quite shocked that a expensive machine broke so easily.

Hi Clayton

When the Dysons are packaged, the rubber band holds the owners manual to the dirt bin.
