I was interviewed for the paper on Wednesday about my various collections. I had thought that I might even get a full page in the weekend edition due to the number of pictures the reporter too. Surprise surprise - paper just came. They did three pages on me. I'm shocked.

Sorry but I have to cut some of the pages in half in order to post them here at a readable size.

Anyway - page 1 top half

Doug

Well done, Doug!

You represent us well in our enthusiasm, contentment and lack of outward craziness. Why, we're simply normal productive citizens with hobbies. LOL

I've been asked a few times over the years by local papers to sit for an article but the house is still not wideangle photo ready. Besides I don't really want the redneck bonehead neighbors knowing exactly what all's in this house. Yet.

Weather channel says you are having snow in Moose Jaw right now...

Dave. enjoying our brief glorious Indian Summer.

They got you covered....

...I can see why it would take three pages to cover all of your great collectibles.

Congratulations Douglas, that was a very interesting article. Just wondering if you have ever thought about joining the VCCC, it is a great group and you would be right at home!!! Terry

Doug,

That is a great article and very nice pictures. I also loved your hockey mask collection, seems very fitting since it seems a lot of Canadians are very passionate about hockey, as are a lot of us here supporting our Penguins.

Great article Doug. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and especially appreciated your paying tribute to our "Vac Granddaddy" Stan Kann.

Hi everyone:

Thank you very much. It was interesting to see what he printed. He did miss a few points though. The first vacuum was my grandmothers Goblin Ace. I dont know the first thing about hockey - just like the masks so I painted most of those in the picture myself. And the Medieval and Jedi robes I made myself as well.

At least he got part of what I told him about Stan Kann in.

Worked the last 16 hours for our election here so I'm exhausted. More later when I'm awake

Doug
