I am new on here, hope you don't mind me picking your brains a bit. :P
I am requiring parts for my UK Concept one, hoping somebody might be able to advise, someone stateside perhaps?
It's been apart sometime before I purchased it and a few screws thats hold the power drive assembly in place were missing which caused the power drive to be a little bit floppy, so the plastic pulley has rubbed against the side of the chassis and caused it to become wafer thin
The blue pin stripe vinyl bag is literally falling apart. From what I can tell, some newer machines have proper cloth bags in much the same pattern?
Does anybody by any chance know if newer Power Drive assembly (EG, Wind Tunnel) clutches are pretty much the same? Theres not much meat left on the original part and due to a floppy Power Drive unit they haven't worn particularly evenly either.
Probably the hardest part from what I've seen on here I require is brush strips Ideally the harder red ones, the green ones seem far to soft to me.
And finally it desperately needs a new J65 needle motor bearing, it makes a dreadful noise when winding down.
I know a lot is required to restore it, but other than its issues its a fine product and such a rarity here in the UK, I'd love to restore it as much as physically possible.
I'd really appreciate any help / advice anybody can give me regarding this vacuum.
kindest regards! :)
