I would love to make another trip up to collect some more goodies, do you by chance have a fantom lighting power nozzle? I have a good working unit but pn is shot. I would buy a whole unit if it had a working pn. I also want a constellation and a few convertibles possibly more. Thanks so much!

I’m in central Indiana, so it’s a bit of a drive. But it seems like it would be worth the trip. I always have a running list of parts and pieces I need. Would it be possible to arrange a weekend visit? |

I had family in Tennessee in the 90s and grew up there for a couple weeks in the summertime every year. I love hokey little hole in the wall places like this, you used to see them a lot down that way back then, I'm sure rent was cheaper and the little man could prosper.
It's such a disorganized and unkempt mess (in the best way of course) that I can picture Mike and Frank from "American Pickers" crawling their way through there. That is a very cool fascia and it would certainly catch my eye! Are those green and blue Dysons in the pics UK models? I don't think I've ever seen a Dyson sold here in the USA in any of those colors. |

It sounds like you ARE in the right end of the state! I simply meant that he's in the opposite end from you, and I wouldn't ask him to make a five+ hour drive to help feed my sickness. If he was the traveling type, I bet he would enjoy that cruise though. We have one near us that draws close to 1,000 vehicles on a big night. And he's the one who introduced us to it, back when he lived up in this part of the country! Barry |

Hello All,
I am happy for those that will find something that they want and boy am I happy that all those vacuums are nowhere near me. It seems like a number of members are letting go of some of their cherished vacuums and duplicates that they might have. Good luck to all you buyers and sellers, Pete |

Not only am I hoping to get up there to see you sometime this fall before your big clean-out is over, I have ulterior motives for coming as well.....I don't know about you, BUT I am absolutely itching for a good trip to Ridgewood again! For those of you that haven't been to see Jimmy or the Elizabethton area, there is a small, hole-in-the-wall type bbq place called Ridgewood BBQ....it is utterly AMAZING, and just to prove how popular it is, if you get there during the lunch rush....be prepared to wait a LONG TIME! It really is THAT GOOD, and worth the wait! I'm going to check with the boss (aka, the wife) and see when she's not on-call, or has something planned with her mom and make a day trip to see you! This time though, dinner's on me Jimmy! :)

Hey,
This is Chris... I called you the other day about the D80s, I’m the one from Florida. I sent you a text earlier today, I know you are hugely busy, but I just don’t want to miss out... I did check my attachments, and whatever you may have for a D80 in addition to the D80 itself would be wonderful! Contact me 601-479-7003 and we can go over things once more. Thank you!!! |

I'd like to have the Cleanmore attachments, and I also would like some beige (greige?) attachments for my lime green Hoover Slimline (I need the furniture nozzle brush and crevice tool) but I can't make it up. It'd be a great trip if I had the time. Would like to see the area. Too far to me to drive from FL and not enough free time. lol

Sadly you're 575 miles away from me. A 10 hour drive (or an $800 one way plane ticket) yikes!
Also as a tip - if you want to take care of your vacuum bags (outer bags or large lots of packaged bags) that people want to buy, you could get rid of them pretty quickly in a USPS medium flat rate box. The narrow type ones. I think it's like $8 to ship. Local post office has them, self sealing, stuff the bag in, scrawl your name and the buyer's name across it, give them the postage money, and away you go. It can't break because it's just a bag. |

I'd love to see if you had the correct color on-board tools for my 75th Anniversary Epic 6500. Also, speaking of Hoover: Any chance you might have this furniture/upholstery nozzle? It's for my Hoover Portable. This one is broken, and the red rubber nubs are missing. Thanks, Barry

Oh my goodness! What can I say, Jimmy has a TON of stuff...words (or photos) can’t begin to scratch the surface! I basically stood in there staring in awe!! Jimmy is such awesome host and a valuable wealth of knowledge!! I can’t thank him enough! I’m loaded down with vacuums, parts, hoses, bags, etc! Very VERY reasonable prices, and of course amazing bbq! While Ridgewood was too busy, I tried another one and was extremely impressed! Anyway, enough talk, time for photos!!!

Hello rugsucker and All,
I am sorry to say the only vacuum I find of interest is the GE 111. I understand GE had also made a Model 111-A with a light, this I have never seen pictured nor in person. I have had to clean out 2 shops for their owners and most machines went in the big dumpsters this was before the Internet and eBay. I have repaired a number of the machines I see you have and a number of them I really hated working on. About 40 years ago took 20 of mine to the dump which left me with 4 vacuums and now I am back up to about 28 or so. I even sort of stupidly just bought a Hoover Baby Model 103 and a Hoover 105. Not really sure why I thought I had to have them. Good luck to you and good luck to all you haulers, Pete |

Took a closer look at Fairfax nozzle(it was hiding behind 3 Elux shampoo/polishers that need to go SOON)and it seems very low mileage.Lable 100% complete & good to very good, little wear on bumper, etc but have not plugged in at workbench. Jimmy |
