The past posts about the Bison always mention the "noise" of the motor. Doesn't sound at all like a Kirby.

My ears hurt 2500 miles away! This was a man's vacuum... no busy housewife would put up with it.

The clicking sound is the brush roll. This machine is very kludgy and over-engineered in every aspect. It's really a wonder ANYONE ever bought one. All I can say is, the salesmen must have had hypnotic powers!!
