If anyone has access to a pdf of the service manual for one of these machines I would much appreciate it if I could snag a copy...

The service manual was done in a DVD with lots of different menus and was quite possibly one of the most boring things ever made.
To my knowledge there is no PDF also it might not be free knowledge with the whole Miele dealer agreement.
I'd be happy to help answer any questions you might have. Here's one of two videos I did on fixing them.

Thanks man. Was worth a shot. My dealer gave me the parts listing and diagram. Iím about to take it apart again to change out another worn part, the foot release which has started to shut the brushroll off when in use. My dealer suggested it was the foot switch. Ya I watch your vids and have seen this one a couple times. On yt as Hanks small engine repair.
