It's great to clean this old place with ALL of these cleaners That yellow convertible is model U4001 Perhaps the next batch will be polishers OR pixies. I have to get new batteries for the camera. Any requests of cleaners? Rooms? maybe showing off some machines. I'd rather think of it as sharing ART. The house is haunted, so,,,,, (but not in a bad way) |

Haunted? By Hoovers? Have you any Celebrities, floating or wheeled? Vintage sound equipment? I'm going to retire to bed now, anything you come up with is a wonderful sight. Thanks for the pictures. And a good investment btw for the camera is a battery charger that comes with rechargeable ni-cad batteries. I actually bought my Duracell set in a grocery store. Very useful! Take care.

I thought you meant people. As long as they are benevolent! We know the Hoovers are. I love art, all I have are prints, but I have one large real one over the sofa painted by one of a group of artists known as "The Highwaymen", and their things are quite valuable now. Maybe we should start an "Off Topic" art thread.

there are a few 75+yr old Chinese rugs elsewhere in the house. Not in the public rooms. The walls do indeed talk. The house was built on top of an old Indian burial ground. 300 feet below is a filled in coal mine.Needless to say, I get company. When we'd get unexpected company, my late mother would say, "Well, I hope they ate".When she was told she was terminal, her response was, "Well, Heaven MUST be great. No one ever comes back, and, everyday there's someone new coming".

What a wonderful collection! We have alot of the same models. My friend Victor and I nicknamed the full hood Hoover in the first picture Mocha Latte, I guess for the color scheme. You have a great house too. Marty |

John - Your house and your Hoovers are wonderful. My favorite is also the yellow-hooded convertible. I have the paisley bag stored away for when I finally get a house again, then I'm going to go hunt down the rest of it. It was one of the first vacuums I owned, too, like you. And your yellow DAM is beautiful! I wish Hoover had made more yellow vacuums! John L |
