I never thought I would find a VOLTA in the United States, but I guess there is a first time for everything. It appears this one is not really a true (supposed to be Swedish?) VOLTA--I recall that this one is a rebadged GE. Still, not something I've seen before.

Another weird one from the pile of vacuums at the thrift store is this Powr-Flite "Powr-Master." It sure seemed like one hell of a commercial cleaner, but I just couldn't quite trace its roots. The design struck me as originating from a Japanese brand, but which one? Panasonic? Sharp? Sanyo? None of the above?

Perhaps coincidentally, it did look to me a lot like this more modern Kenmore Intuition (link below).

The Volta is the GE (Eureka) Wally Mart upright, and the Powr Flite is a Eureka Excaliber.

I really like the Electrolux Volta,it's probably rare and it reminds me of the GE upright vacuums that Walmart used to sell back in the early 2000's.
