I saw a picture a few years back of a hoover preferred styled vac that was labeled dimension and had a bright red transluscent bag door. it looks kind of like that burgundy Breathe Easy model. I cant find a picture of it anywhere now online. Has anyone ever had one? I would imagine it was one of the last elites.

The Breathe Easy was also a thing.

Yep. This is the Breathe Easy in the photo. However there was a model that looked similar that was a much brighter red, the hose set up on the back, had an elite styled hood and it was labeled dimension.

I know. Hoover dumping the Elite after 25 years was a big mistake, with all their other classic machines.

I wish they still made their classics as well as i have only ever got to try only a few of them. Plus theoriginals had several different cool looking designs ranging from the different types of Elites to the original Windtunnel series. Now all thats left is the Windtunnel Self Propelled and the Tempo. A few years ago I bought a transluscent blue Widepath Soft Guard model off ebay.

There was one Hoover that looked hideous in that dark gray/silver color and was based off an old Eureka. That machine was from the mid-2000's, I think.

No, it was bagged. I can't remember it.
