~ It's a toy, a junior-size vacuum cleaner for little homemakers-to-be. Many companies made them. I remember a toy Kenmore in the 1960s Christmas catalogs that worked just like the full-sized machines, even having an electric motor that ran on 110 volts. And I've seen Christmas ads from Hoover that show Mother and Daughter dressed in matching dusters and using "adult" and "child" Model 62 Hoovers.
