I have a Miele C3 canister vacuum. I'm not a huge fan of suction driven tools and when I came across the HEB160 I got excited. I'm having a tough time determining if it will fit my Miele. Does Miele follow the HEB standard?

I own the HEB160 already. It will NOT fit a Miele as it is out of the box, it will require some modifications. To make it work, you will need to use a 35mm to 32mm adapter for the powerhead neck, & you will also need to change out the cord as European vacs, like Miele, use a smaller diameter pin on their powerhead cord plugs & receptacles.

Might I ask what you will be using it to clean up? Just so you know, if this is being used on pet hair, the hair will wrap around the brush, & it won't be as easy as some other brands to get in & cut the hair out. There is another electric brush called the Stair Pro that would be better suited for pet hair, as it has a more aggressive brushroll & much easier to clean out; It's a generic version of the Electrolux Sidekick, sold for central vacs & as a aftermarket replacement for Electrolux.

Here's a couple links to the parts you will need to convert the HEB160.

Thank you for that info. That is helpful.

I plan to use it on stairs as I have a long hair cat. I also want to use it in my car as I think it would be a good tool for the back of the SUV.

The stair pro looks nice. Will I need adapters for that as well?

Miele makes one of these too. You might want to see if it would work on your C3 before going to a lot of trouble.

I don't believe MIele makes a mini power head. If you have a link. Please share. Most of the stuff they sell is air driven and not electric.

Here is the link to the one I mentioned. I had one and it did a great job.

stair pro

Have not heard of the stair pro, does it have a cord on it or does it use direct connect? I also have the heb160, very nice nozzle, certainly better than any turbo brush.

I have the C3 Alize suction only. I keep trying to talk myself into spending the $500+ to buy the power hose/wand/head. I don't have pets and since I added the turbo head and mini-turbo to my setup I'm struggling to convince myself my floors and carpet are not being cleaned so I can pull the trigger.
