For these-this is similar to the old Arvin models-you could replace the heating coils yourself if they burn out.Appliance parts shops usually have the replacement nichrome wire. |

My dad had an almost identical heater to this but not of Sears make. It still works perfect despite being 40 plus years old! He used to have it going in his workshop back in the day for hours at a time and it threw out a lot of heat. It has been sitting in the cellar for the past 3-4 years in disuse but I plan on cleaning it up and put it back in use for my own cellar workshop that I'm preparing.
I wish we could have quality made products like this again! |

My dad has an older one in the basement for when he isn't running the pellet stove, goes to 1625 watts. |
